- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR NEWS CLIPPING SERVICE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to ANSWER QUESTIONS SUBMITTED. QUESTION 1 - Your SOW requires the contractor to, "Post the daily summary on an Internet accessible by NASA personnel across the entire agency." We interpret this to mean that the contractor should provide the Internet location for posting on our web server, rather than on a NASA server. Is this interpretation correct ANSWER 1 - YES, THE CONTRACTOR PROVIDES A SECURE INTERNET SITE WHERE DAILY CLIPPINGS CAN BE FOUND AND PAST BRIEFINGS SEARCHED. QUESTION 2 - With regard to the inclusion of Washington (DC) schedules in the daily summary, does NASA desire to see all congressional hearings, White House Press Conferences, and other events, or only those dealing with topics relevant to NASA? ANSWER 2 - IT'S GOOD TO SEE A CROSS-SECTION OF DC EVENTS THAT EXTEND BEYOND NASA. QUESTION 3 - Does NASA have a preferred format for Past Performance information submitted with this solicitation, and does the Contracting Officer desire verifications from past clients be submitted by the response date? ANSWER 3 - NOTE: I CAN'T ANSWER THIS ONE. IF THERE'S A PREFERRED FORMAT, I'M NOT AWARE OF ONE. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on DECEMBER 20, 2005. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
