Description

Contractor to provide hotel facilities for the 15th Annual Demilitarization Users Group Meeting. Preferred Event Date: Monday 23 October 2006 through Thursday 26 October 2006. Location must be in proximity of Las Vegas, NV, accommodating a tour of the Twenty Nine Palms Marine Corps Base. The hotel must be located within a ten mile radius of the McCarran International Airport to minimize attendee transportation time. Hotel must have dining facilities within to accommodate breakfast, lunch and dinne r measls. At least one restaurant on premises should be open around the clock. Hotel should have capability/availability to accommodate 250 persons/rooms per night Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Minimum sleepong room requirements by date: Sunday 20 rooms , Monday 100 rooms, Tuesday 250 rooms, Wednesday 250 rooms, Thursday 100 rooms with Friday as checkout. Hotel must accept the Government's per diem room rate for the area. All quoters must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CC R) database to be considered for award. Quoters may register at www.ccr.gov. The Request for Quotation (RFQ)approximate issue date is 9 January 2006 with closing date approximately 17 January 2006. This RFQ will be issued electronically in accordance wit h FAR 4.502 and FAR 5.102. Therefore, paper copies will not be provided. Copies of the RFQ may be downloaded from the following websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov or https://acquisition.army.mil. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to chec k these websites for the issuing and any changes to the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed action is unrestricted. The NAICS for this action is 721110, $6,000,000 size standard.
