Description
The Naval Air Orlando Training Systems Division (NAVAIR Orlando) has a requirement for instructional support and other related instructional services for the Non-Compliant Boarding, Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (NCB-VBSS) and Visit Board, Search and Seizure Boarding Officer (VBSS BO) Anti-Terrorism (AT) courses. The instructional services shall be conducted for Navy and other Government personnel in the Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA, Pearl Harbor, HI, Mayport, FL, and Yokosuka, Japan (if required) Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs). The training services provided by the offeror will encompass the course scope and learning objectives identified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) attachments. NAVAIR Orlando seeks to competitively award this contract on a 100% small business set-aside. The basic award will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for this effort with a period of performance of one (1) base year, with four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government as per FAR 52.217-9. The SOW addresses the basis of operations, administrative, and instructional tasks required under this IQC. The contractor shall be required to work closely with the CENATNSF TPOC in the performance of instructional/ training duties as defined herein. Training requirements for AT related training operations shall be included under this effort for providing instructors only (I/O). The training provided by the contractor will encompass the course scope, learning objectives, and Navy instructions identified in any applicable attachments. Specific details will be provided in the formal RFP N61339-06-R-0012, which will only be posted on the NAVAIR Orlando website at http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/ebusiness/BusOps/Index.cfm (click on Open Acquisitions) on or about 19 January 2006.
