Description

AMENDMENT TO SYNOPSIS Federal Supply Class (FSC) 6810, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 331492, NSN: 6810-01-530-9407. Magnesium Powder, MIL-DTL-382D, Type III, Gran 17 (atomized), exception NTE 2% Fines, quantity 1,152 Drums (100 pounds per drum and marked with lot number, batch number, and drum number). This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract, FOB Destination, Crane Army Ammunition Plant, Crane, IN. Delivery of Magnesium Powder shall be 3 weeks after date of contract award. Electronic bid submission will NOT be accepted in response to this solicitation. All quotes must be faxed or mailed in by the specified date and time with the solicitation number clearly labeled on the outside. All contractors who provide goods/ services to the DOD will be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or contact CCR at 1-888-227-2423. Approximate issue date of the solicitation is 9 January 2006 with the opening date 7 days from issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at http://www.osc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these websites. It is the contractors responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
