Description

The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for unarmed security services at the Las Vegas Wash, Henderson, NV. One (1) unarmed security guard will be required to watch seven pieces of rented construction equipment in the Las Vegas Wash. Time requirements are as follows: January 23, 2006 through and including June 9, 2006. Services will be required each week night (Monday - Friday) from 5 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning. On weekends, services will be required from 1:30 p.m. on Fridays through 8 a.m. on Monday mornings. This requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 561612 and the size standard is 11.5 million (average gross receipts over a three-year period). Prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to www.ccr.gov. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and baning information. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about January 5, 2006; however, all dates in this announcement are subject to change. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov/ , but the Government reserves the right to issue the solicitation on paper or CD-ROM if the website becomes inoperable.
