Description

The Southeast Utah Group of the National Park Service is soliciting a Sole Source award To Bob's Sanitation, in Moab, UT, for refuse collection and removal service in both Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park. Bob's Sanitation is the only Utah HUBZone business listed in the Small Business Administration under the NAICS Code of 562111, Solid Waste Collection, and the only refuse collection company in the Moab area. Per the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), 13CFR126.612, a Sole Source contract may be awarded to qualified HUBZone Small Business Company's under these circumstances. The work consists of providing all labor, equipment and material necessary to collect and dispose of all solid waste in these two parks. The contract will be awarded for the remainder of this fiscal year, and four one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The base year and each option period will be awarded and exercised subject to the availability of each fiscal years' funds. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued to Bob's Sanitation, Q1343060001, under NAICS Code 562111with a Size Standard of $11.5 Million. The Government anticipates an award of a firm, fixed-price contract, with an aggregate total magnitude between $50,000 and $100,000. The proposed award date is January 17, 2006. The work is subject to the Service Contract Act, with the Dept. of Labor (DOL) Wage Determination No. 94-2531 for the State of Utah, which can be found at www.wdol.gov (click on Selecting SCA EDs and go through the process).
