Description

General Services Administration (GSA) intends to award a sole source, Open Market contract to KANA Software, Inc. (KANA.) The description of the requirement includes the following: Standard Maintenance Renewal ? KANA Contact Center EJB v7.0x for 100 agents. The part number for the software maintenance is 106-SMR-700-EN-A. The maintenance coverage period is from 02/01/06 to 12/31/06. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. In order to be considered for this award, offerors shall provide proof that they are authorized by the manufacturer to provide maintenance on the KANA software. All interested parties must submit a capability statement that describes their capability in fulfilling the above requirement. Please provide the statement via email only to James Julian at james.julian@gsa.gov by 27, January 2006; 4:30 pm Pacific Standard Time. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it a formal Request For Quotes. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. In the absence of responses from firms that believe they have the capability to provide pricing for the requirement above, GSA intends to award the contract to KANA Software, Inc., located at 181 Constitution Drive, Menlo Park, CA 94025.
