- Description
- This invention covers a way to use nuclear or other power sources to displace the use of natural gas in producing ammonia and ammonium fertilizers. Avoiding the use of natural gas eliminates unpredictable large swings in feedstock prices and has the future benefit of not discharging carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. Not requiring a nearby natural gas pipeline would allow these plants to locate near their primary customers in farming areas. Contact Mr. David Anderson. A potential licensing opportunity exists with BEA, the prime operating contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE) at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). BEA is soliciting a written indication of interest from industrial partners interested in entering into a license agreement for the purpose of developing a prototype and commercializing the technology described below. This is not an opportunity to provide goods or services to BEA or DOE. This solicitation will close to response 30 days after publication. Interested parties should send a description of their company and their plans to commercialize this technology to the following address: David Anderson Sr. Account Executive Technology Transfer and Commercialization Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC P.
