Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, is soliciting to identify sources that are capable of furnishing AIRCRAFT MECHANIC TOOL KITS. THESE TOOL KITS WILL CONSIST OF 127 HAND TOOLS WHICH ARE ETCHED WITH TOOL KIT NUMBERS (EGBKBA001 THRU EGBKBA018), FURTHERMORE, THE TOOL BOX WILL CONTAIN FOAM LINERS WITH CUTOUTS FOR EACH SPECIFIC TOOL. ALL TOOLS SHALL COME WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY, TO BE EXCHANGED IF BROKEN OR DAMAGED AT NO COST TO THE GOVERNMENT. REPLACEMENT TOOLS SHALL BE ETCHED IDENTICAL TO BROKEN TOOLS (for a list of specific tools and/or a copy of the Statement of Objectives, please contact SrA Berlinda Stills at the phone number below). These tools will be purchased in support of the 46th Test Wing at Eglin AFB, FL. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price requirements type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332212, with a small business standard size of 500 employees. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), OR AN INVITATION FOR BID. Interested sources are invited to submit statement of current capability to provide these Tool Kits to include company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone, and facsimile numbers and type and business size indicating whether you are a small or large business for the purposes of the assigned NAICS.
