Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, has a requirement for the rental of heavy construction equipment to be used to assist with bank stabilization construction support in the Las Vegas Wash, Henderson, NV. The equipment needed is as follows: (1 EA) CAT 345CL Hydraulic Excavator with Thumb (for 4.5 months, January 23, 2006 to June 9, 2006) (3 EA) CAT D400 Dump Truck (no tailgate) (for 4.5 months, January 23, 2006 to June 9, 2006) (1 EA) CAT D7 Dozer (for 3 months, March 3, 2006 to June 9, 2006) (1 EA) CAT 980G Wheel Loader with Teeth (for 1.5 months, January 23, 2006 to March 3, 2006) (1 EA) 615 Water Truck (5,000 gallons with water cannon) (for 4.5 months, January 23, 2006 to June 9, 2006) Mobilization and Demobilization will be included on Request for Quote. This requirement is being procured under the Commercial Items Test Program at FAR 13.5 for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 532412. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) site prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to www.ccr.gov. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and banking information. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about January 10, 2006, and awarded on January 18, 2006; however, all dates in this announcement are subject to change.
