Description
SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel for OCC?s Large Banks? Staff Conference to be held in October/November 2006 or March 2007 in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, or Pittsburgh. The Large Banks Conference will be held Tuesday through Friday. The estimated maximum number of guest rooms per night is 470. The program may consist of one reception; one luncheon; a general session on four days; and up to nine concurrent sessions on two days. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Hotel & Travel Index; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site in January 2006. The solicitation document contains the Conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible vendors may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in February/March 2006. *****
