Description

This is a synopsis for the intended sole source effort to Treadwell Corporation, 341 Railroad Street, Thomaston, CT 06787, to deliver Automated Electrolytic Oxygen Generator Simulator (AEOGS) Trainer Hardware Maintenance Equipment. This contract will be awarded per the authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, ?Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.? Treadwell Corporation is the only known source and exclusive provider of the tactical Electrolytic Oxygen Generator (EOG), EOG Front Panel Simulator (FPS), tactical AEOG and the AEOG Contractor Trainer Equipment components (Flow Control Valve, Modified DC Power Pack, Pressure Transducer, Flow Restrictor, Prefaulted Relay, Lee Flow Restrictor Jet Assembly, Flow Restrictor, Filter Element, Back Pressure Regulator, Salinity Cell, Electric Control Valuve). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement as prime contractor. The Government will consider any company believing they have the capability of satisfying this requirement, and are invited to provide a technical capability statement. A determination by the Government not to compete the procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. An award shall be issued on or about 27 January 2006 (remaining posted for at least 15 days) as per FAR reference 5.203(a). This procurement will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract utilizing FAR Part 15.
