Description

Sources Sought: The VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas is conducting market research to determine the availability of Small Businesses to provide bread and bakery products to the VA Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, material, equipment, supplies, and supervision to provide bread and bakery products to support the Nutrition & Food Service and Veterans Canteen Service of the VA Medical Center, Little Rock, Arkansas. Contractor shall accept delivery orders from at least two (2) sources and shall deliver to at least two (2) separate points at varying times. Delivery orders will be based on patient load and will increase or decrease in conjunction with hospital census. Contractor may be required to check stock on hand and make adjustments (possibly requiring additional delivery). The NAICS code for this procurement is 311812, size standard is 500 employees. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient small business competition exists. The government will make the final determination to solicit from either small or large businesses. A solicitation document is being created but is not currently available. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTES AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.
