Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Carl T. Hayden Medical Center intends to negotiate a contract with the Eastman Kodak, 343 State Street, Rochester, NY 14650. The contract is to provide on-site service after the in-house Biomedical Engineering section has evaluated the systems for the Kodak Health Imaging Equipment. This contract also includes the cost for replacement of parts broken or worn beyond useful life, but not damaged by abuse. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority at FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and or obtained at www.arnet.gov. This notice of our intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon the responses received is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a response to this solicitation not later than February 14, 2006, 2:00 P.M., Local time, which shall be considered by the agency.
