Description

J-- The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance and overhaul of the UH-60 Primary Servo Assembly. Input NSN & P/N is 1650-01-143-1226/70410-02820-054. Output NSN & P/N is 1650-01-143-1226/70410-02820-054. This is a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement for a min/max quantity of 250/2,700 each. Overhaul shall be in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1650-381 dated 15 JUN 2005. Upon completion of overhaul, the assets anticipated shipment destination is New Cumberland, PA (FOB Origin). The government required output delivery schedule is 90 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 70 each per month. This is an Avi ation Critical Safety Item. Public Law No. 108-136, National Defense Authorization Act Fiscal Year 2004, Section 802, Quality Control in Procurement of Aviation Critical Safety items and Related Services, implemented for acquisition by Department of Defen se Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 209-270 requires that contracts for modification, repair, or overhaul of CSI items can only be awarded to a source approved by the head of the design control activity. Current approved sources are as follows: t he Original Equipment Manufacturer Parker Hannifin Corp, Irvin, CA (CAGE 82106), Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, CT (CAGE 78286),), and Prototype Engineering, Gardena, CA (CAGE 08186). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to c ompete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocates Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s ) for source approval to: Commander, US Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sourc es may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed thr ough their respective embassies. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT. This requirement is currently unfunded.
