Description
The government is issuing this Request For Information (RFI) as a Competitive Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Set-Aside, to solicit information for the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARSYSCOM) for Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) with full supply support for Training Ranges/Devices at: Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, CA; MCAS Miramar, CA, MCB Okinawa, Japan; and MCB Hawaii. NAICS Code 541330 The anticipated COMS contract will be a firm-fixed-price (FFP) service contract awarded on a low-price, technically acceptable basis. Initial award will be for a period beginning 01 July 2006 for MCB Okinawa and MCB Hawaii, MCB Camp Pendleton requirements will commence July 2007. This effort is a follow-on effort. A Pre-Proposal Conference Site Visit is scheduled at MCAS Miramar/MCB Camp Pendleton (28 Feb - 3 Mar 2006); with follow on Site Visits at MCB Hawaii (06 Mar. 2006) and MCB Okinawa (09 Mar. 2006). Parties interested in attending the Pre-Proposal conference/Site Visits must register with Fred Boehne at: fred.j.boehne@usmc.mil (Contract Specialist) and Major Stuart Muladore at: stuart.k.muladore@usmc.mil, prior to Feb.6, 2006. Details will be provided electronically to interested parties. The government intends to a release a Draft RFP Approximately 30 January 2006. This documents and all future documents shall be available for download via http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ This RFI does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the US Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. All potential offerors desiring to be placed on the contact list for this procurement and/or attending Presoliciation/site Visit, are requested to submit such a request to Mr. Fred Boehne at: fred.j.boehne@usmc.mil and Major Stuart Muladore at: stuart.k.muladore@usmc.mil .Only offers received from small disadvantaged business sources will be considered.
