Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, is soliciting to identify sources that are capable of furnishing one new (1) Slip-Ring Assembly (also called a rotary electrical joint, a collector swivel, or an electric swivel) and also performing the refurbishment of one (1) Slip-Ring Assembly in support of the 46th Test Wing at Eglin AFB, FL. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a date of delivery being no later than 17 March 2006. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335312, with a small business standard size of 1000 employees. This is a brand name or equal request. The suggested source is AirFlyte Electronics Company, AirFlyte part number: 1001449-005. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), OR AN INVITATION FOR BID. Interested sources are invited to submit a statement of current capability to provide one (1) AirFlyte Slip-Ring Assembly and to perform refurbishment on one (1) AirFlyte Slip-Ring Assembly to include company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone, and facsimile numbers, type of business and business size indicating whether you are a small or large business for the purposes of the assigned NAICS.
