Description

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), the Department of Defense Medical School and Health Sciences University, hereby announces its intent to award a sole source Purchase Order to Beckman Coulter of Fullerton, CA for one base year and four option years, to provide full service and maintenance, including parts and labor, on two pieces of equipment located at the University. This includes a Beckman Coulter Epics XL Flow Cytometer System (SN: Z31188) and a Beckman Coulter Epics Elite Cell Sorter (SN: T33553). Beckman Coulter is the manufacturer of the equipment and is the only authorized and certified service provider for repairs and maintenance for the Beckman Coulter equipment. Service includes provision of all system upgrades. The statutory authority permitting this award under other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
