Description

Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) intends to issue a solicitation for comprehensive acquisition support services for DSCR. The anticipated period of full performance is 1 October 2006 ? 30 September 2007 with a one year option period. After award, but prior to initiation of full services, a contractor transition team will be required to be on board. This small team will work to assist with the smooth transition into full functionality. Under this requirement, the contractor will be responsible for providing technical, and procurement support to DSCR and detachments located at DSCR. One Indefinite Quantity/labor hour contract will be issued for the required services and individual task orders will be issued for specific support. The majority of the workload is anticipated to reside in Business Systems Modernization (BSM); however, residual procurement workload is expected to exist in Standard Automated Material Management System (SAMMS). The contractor shall provide the required services through performance at the DSCR site and the contractor?s facilities. The DSCR site shall be used for day-to-day operations. Contractor facilities shall be used for management and special project requirements. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters. The solicitation issue date is on or about February 17, 2006. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100 PERCENT SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED 8(A) FIRMS. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561110, Office Administrative Services with a size standard of $6.5 million (based on annual receipts ? gross receipts are defined as an average over a firm?s last three completed fiscal years to determine its average annual receipts. ?Receipts? means the firm?s gross or total income, plus cost of goods sold, as defined by or reported on the firm?s Federal Income Tax return.)
