Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to negotiate with only one responsible source, RDA Corporation, 1954 Greenspring Drive, 7th Floor, Timonium, Maryland 21093, using simplified acquisition procedures, for the acquisition of end user software license for the Intelligent Mobile Framework. The IMF Implementation for this license is the STAR application used for Kidney Dialysis inspections. CMS will be distributing this application to their employees, contractors, and subcontractors for the purposes of conducting the inspections. The proposed contractor has proprietary rights to the software application. The Government intends to negotiate with only one responsible source pursuant to the authority of Part 6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Therefore, this notice is not a request for a submission. However, interested parties may submit a description of their capabilities to perform within 5 days of this notice and the submission will be considered.
