Description
This announcement constitutes a Request for Proposal W912JC-06-R- 4012. No written solicitation exists and WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is for Kansas Army National Guard, Regional Sustainment Training Site (RSMS), Ft Riley, KS. The requirement is to rebuild NHC 250 Engines on an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for a base year plus 2 one year option periods. Proposals will be evaluated as lowest price technically acceptable to the government. To be technically acceptable you must be able to rebuild the engine to the specifications and p ass a first article test of a rebuilt engine. Price will be to rebuild each engine and separate pricing is required for each year of the contract. The price must include freight charges FOB Dest to Ft Riley, KS. The first order is estimated to be 25 eng ines and then a possibility of 0-25 engines per month thereafter. The guaranteed minimum order for the entire life of this contract is 40 engines and the usual number of engines per month is five but could be as much as 25 per month. The first article reb uilt engine will be provided within 5 working days of pickup of the core and all subsequent engines will be required to be delivered within 15 days of core pickup. Engine specifications can be found on our website www.ngks.net under solicitation W912JC-06- R-4012. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (10/2003) applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (1/2005) applies to this acquisition. Under paragraph b, the following clauses are incorporated: 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government, with Alternate I; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 252.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans; 52.225-3, Buy American Act-Supplies. The clause 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment (5/1999) applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition.
