Description

GovWorks is issuing a 100% Small Business Set Aside Request for Proposal on behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense - Acquisition Directorate who has a requirement for IT Acquisition Support Services. The project encompasses the functions necessary to provide acquisition support and analyses to the Director, Acquisition with concentration on the DoD's Major Automated Information System (MAIS) programs, software acquisition processes, and related investments. The project will encompass the following functions: * Acquisition Analysis * Software Acquisition Process Improvement (SPI) Analyses * Acquisition Planning Support. The solicitation will result in the award of a hybrid Firm Fixed Price/Time and Material contract with a period of performance of date of award through December 31, 2006 for the base year and four (4) One Year Option periods. Place of performance will be at the Government offices in Arlington, VA and other locations as needed. The NAICS code identified for this procurement is 541611 with a small business size standard of $6Million Dollars. The request for Proposal, Statement of Work and all other associated documents will be made available via the Internet at http://www.govworks.gov/vendor/csolicit.asp under RFP 04-06-RP-61511. Any questions and answers and modifications will be posted at the above site. The RFP is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about January 23, 2006 and will be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential vendors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for any resultant contract. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained. Potential offerors are requested to direct all questions via e-mail to chris.carlson@mms.gov. Ensure that the RFP number and project title is referenced in all correspondence. This will be the only notice issued.
