- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with The M&T Company for the acquisition of the following F/A-18 Avionics Support Equipment (SE) items for the ASQ-228(v) Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared System (ATFLIR): (24) Optical Bench Build-up Holding Fixture, P/N E10-23128; (24) Cradle Support Assembly, P/N E10-23130; (24) Shields, P/N E10-23131; (96) Shield Isolators, P/N E10-23148; (32) RDU/Resolver Alignment Fixture, P/N E10-22076; (20) RDU/PAU Test Boxes, P/N E10-23111; (20) RDU Cable Set, P/N E10-21272; (24) Telescope Gimbal Assembly Holding Fixture, P/N E10-23129; (200) Altered Tool Kit Assemblies, P/Ns E10-23140, E10-23141, E10-23142, E10-23143, E10-23144; (20) PAU Cable Set, P/N E10-21271; (20) PEH Cable Set, P/N E10-21273; (32) Blower Assembly, P/N 106665-509; (45) Maintenance Transport Bench Assembly, P/N E10-21300; (45) Maintenance Transport Bench Transport Case, P/N E10-23139, (15) Outrigger Assembly, P/N E10-21314. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
