Description

The Intramural Research Program (IRP), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a sole source purchase to APPLIED BIOSYSTEMS, 850 LINCOLN CENTRE DRIVE, FOSTER CITY, CA. 94404. NAICS CODE 811219 and the size standard is $6.0. The vendor will supply a New Maintenance agreement for Applied Biosystems Analytical/Mass Spectrometer , serial number 1119810. Applied Biosystems is the Manufacturer of this equipment therefore no other vendor is authorized to perform maintenance on this equipment. Period of performance January 2006 thru January, 2007. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a Simplified Acquisition with the estimated value of less than $100,000.00 threshold. This acquisition is being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 13.601-1 (b)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determine whether to conduct any future competitive procurement.
