- The Regional Contacting Office ? SW Region is conducting a market research to identify companies that have the capability to perform a contract for the repair of lawn equipment, specifically weed trimmers, push lawnmowers, and riding lawn mowers located at various locations throughout Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Ca. for a base year and four one year option years. This is not a formal solicitation or a request for proposal. This is a sources sought announcement seeking only small business responses in order to determine small business participating in the acquisition. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS Code is 811411 and the size standard is $6.5 mil. This request for information is not be construed as a commitment by the Government, and the Government will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. The results of this request may result in a future synopsis announced in FEDBIZOPS as a request for proposal. The contract will include labor and material to repair all lawn equipment. The makes and models of the lawn equipment to be repaired are: John Deere Riding Mowers, Model #F725, GT262; John Deere Riding Mowers, Model #L100 & L110; Exmark HP Lasar Riding Mower; Johnson Push Mower, Model JVA 2461C and JVA 246C2; Sarlo Push Mower; and Stihl Weed Trimmers, Model FS250. All machines must be picked-up, repair and delivered within 30 calendar days of repair request. Your response shall include the following information: Company Name, Company Size and Socio-Economic status (i.e. Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, etc), number of employees, revenue for the last three years, relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back no more than five years and your company?s capability to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and exp erience to compete for such services.
