Description

Physical Demands Testing - Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna PA (DDSP), located in New Cumberland, PA, has a requirement for a contractor to perform Physical Demands Testing on individuals referred by DDSP. The Physical Demands Testing shall measure grip strength; static and dynamic lifting strength; lifting ranges; positional work tolerances; and aerobic capacity, and must be performed by a licensed Physical Therapist or Registered Occupational Therapist in accordance with a Statement of Work. Since individuals will be traveling from their homes or from DDSP for this testing, the contractor must be located within the Pennsylvania counties of Dauphin, Cumberland, or York. The contract will run for a period of performance of one (1) year from the date of award, and will be Firm-Fixed Price/Not ?to-Exceed utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. Estimated quantity (number of tests) is 250 during the period of performance ? this is an estimate only and not a guaranteed quantity, the actual number of tests may be more or less. The acquisition will be set-aside 100% for small business with NAICS Code 621340 and a Size Standard of $6.5 million. Tentative solicitation date is O/A February 22, 2006.
