- SUBJECT: Data Acquisition System REF Request For Quote: FA9300-06-F-5002 DUE: January 16, 2006 POC: Rodger Owen Young, 661-277-9569 (voice) EMAIL rodger.young@edwards.af.mil COMBINED SYNOPOSIS AND SOLICATION DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition. The award is 100?Percent set-aside for a small business. But reserves the right to make competitive if no small business concern are found. The NAICS code is 518210. The items are currently available from Pacific Instruments Inc of 4080 Pike Lane, Concord CA 94520, Under GSA Contract GS-24F-1480C, and Phone 925-827-9023. And only Sole-Sourced to that company. No other offers will be considered, unless there manufacture by Pacific Instruments Inc. No other substitutes considered. The following items will be procured: Mainframe 16-Slot Model No 6000U 1-Each 8-Ch Thermocouple/Voltage Amp, Model 6013-2723, 11-Each 16-Bits Digital/Isolated Relay, Model No 6040-2, 1-Each 4-Ch Frequency Period Counter, Model No 6048, 2-Each EDC522 Calibration Reference, Model NO EDC522, 1-Each Equipment Cabinet, Model No SYSCAB, 1-Each Basic Acquisition and Display, Model No P166OSP, 1-Each The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 518210. The size standard is $21.0M. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete proposal that provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals (if Available). The Government will consider all responses received by the publication due date of this notice. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
