Description

Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 and other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, the Navstar GPS Joint Program Office intends to issue a sole source purchase order to repair 2 MAGR 2000 S Receiver production units, Raytheon part number 6450702-100, being used for Navy AV-8B integration developmental test. The contractor will perform an incoming acceptance test to identify any faults and needed repair actions and complete those repairs, as well as, identify the corrective actions taken and probable cause, perform the final acceptance test, and shipment return to customer. The intended source is Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company, El Segundo, CA. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company is the sole manufacturer of the MAGR 2000-S and is the only known company capable of completing the requirements within the specified period of time. The buying office is SMC/GPK, 2420 Vela Way Suite 1866, Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, CA 90245. Notes 22 and 26 apply.
