Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attachment. This announcement constitutes the Request for Quotation. The United States Attorney Office for the Northern District of Iowa located in Cedar Rapids has a requirement for copy per page copier service/maintenance for copiers. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded for a sixty (60) month period. Offerors must have the capability to provide copiers and on-site service, parts, labor and supplies for a per copy charge. THIS WILL NOT BE A COPITAL INVESTMENT, ON A SERVICE/MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH NO PURCHASE OPTIONS. This notice is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures; NAICS code for this procurement is 811310 with size standard of $6M. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED. The solicitation number is RFQ-EOA29-6-0147. See ATTACHMENT for the following additional information: Instructions for completion of solicitation package, Schedule of Commercial Services and Prices, Statement of Work and the following clauses 52.212-4 ? Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Item? and 52.212-5 ? Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Offers or proposals will be evaluated in accordance with evaluation factors contained in the solicitation ?Evaluation and Selection Factor?. The Government may or may not entertain questions regarding the RFQ. Any questions shall be submitted via email to Patricia.Willett@usdoj.gov. Quotes are due on Tuesday, February 16, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. (noon), Eastern Standard Time. LATE Quotations will not be accepted. Quotes shall be sent via e-mail, courier, hand delivered or faxed to The Department of Justice, Executive Office for the U.S. Attorneys, 600 E Street, N.W., Suite 2400, Acquisition, Facilities and Support Services, Washington, D.C. 20530, Attn: Patricia Willett. You may fax your quote to (202) 616-6651 or e-mail to Patricia.Willett@usdoj.gov. Offerors shall ensure that the faxed quotes are LEGIBLE (min. 12pt font). All quotes shall reference: RFQ-EOA29-6-0147 on the front of the package/page.
