Description

Item to be procured is a Artillery Fire Direction Set in support of the M109 Self Propelled Howitzer; NSN 1290-00-299-6892, PN 8636239, Solicitation will be a three-year Requirements with estimated quantities of 200 per year. Estimated issue date of solicitation is 27FEB2006. Proposed contract will be 100% small business set aside. The solicitation, along with any amendments, will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1 therefore hardcopies will not be provid ed. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/Padds_web/index.html. CAUTION: Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render a proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The technical data package will be posted on the Internet along with the solicitation.
