Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Institution Ray Brook, located at 128 Old Ray Brook Road, Ray Brook, New York, has a future requirement for the provision to provide inmates enrolled in the Advanced Occupational Education program Alcohol and Substance Abuse Studies. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611513 (Size Standard: $6.5 Million). The contractor will provide 252 hours of drug and alcohol specific training required for certification as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse counselor and provide qualified ASAS graduates with opportunities to pursue supervised internship hours. The contractor shall be accredited and licensed with: New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), Academy of Addiction Studies, and have a provider number. The rate for these services shall be on a per session basis(1 session = 1 hour). Course shall consist of not less than eighty-nine (89) three (3)-hour periods of one (1) hour sessions per contract year or more than one hundred four (104) three (3)-hour periods of one (1) hour sessions per contract year. These periods will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, and occasionally on Saturdays, from 7:30am to 9:30am and 11:00am to 2:00pm or 12:00pm to 3:00pm, for six (6) hours of training {two (2) three (3)-hour periods}. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provied these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about February 9, 2006 and will be distributed solely through General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.Fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for market survey is February 17, 2006. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written request for the market survey will be accepted.
