- This is notice of intent to issue a Request for Quote for Off Site Storage and Retrieval of Official Government Records for the Us Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, Wilmington, NC. There are approximately 3500 boxes of government records boxes: 1900 magnetic tapes; two legal size boxes; one cube of microfiche; and 40 engineering map tubes are currently being store at the current contractor facility within 15 miles of the district building. There are approximately 100 boxes and 100 tubes cu rrently stored at the District's warehouse facility. The purpose of this contract is to store official government records to a secure and environmentally controlled storage site for both storage and retrieval capability. Government records consist of paper documents stored in National Archives approved record holding boxes, magnetic tapes, microfiche and engineering map tubes. The Wilmington District records shall be stored at one location in Wilmington, NC. The mileage distance fron 68 and/or 69 Darlington Avenue, Wilmington, NC and the contractor storage site shall be located with 15 miles. Contract will be firm fixed price. Contract period is one base year and four option years. The North American Industry Class Identifications System (NAICS) Code for thi s procurement is 519190.
