Description

The US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) is upgrading the CATV Video Distribution Backbone. The NCTC distributes a total of 27 RF video channels to 225 guest lodging rooms and numerous classroom locations throughout the 548 acre facility consisting of 12 buildings. This fragmented layout requires a combination of fiber optic cable, coaxial cable, optical transmitters and receivers, signal taps, splitters, RF amplifiers, signal equalizers, and ancillary equipment. The potential contractor must possess technical expertise in CATV distribution networks to test, evaluate , and remedy specific issues with the existing infrastructure and equipment. A Statement of Work will be posted with the RFQ. Potential contractors will be required to do a site survey prior to the submission of quotes.
