Description
Please do NOT call or send an email regarding this synopsis. Stay tuned to this web site for the complete RFQ. Then submit a quote if you have date and space availability per the instructions in Part IV of the RFQ. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel for OCC?s Law Department Staff Conference to be held in May or September 2006 in Washington, DC or Arlington, VA or Alexandria, VA. This is a three-day meeting. The estimated maximum number of guest rooms per night is 35. The program may consist of one reception for 135; a general session on two days for 135; and three concurrent sessions for 45 each on one day. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Hotel & Travel Index; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site in February 2006. The solicitation document contains the Conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures (FAR Part 13). All responsible vendors may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in February/March 2006. *****
