Description

The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Heritage Packaging for the purchase of 1070 each M16 Long Term Rifle Storage & Preservation Bags Featuring a Re-useable Closure & Serial No. Viewing Window (P/N HPV-81503-M-16) under simplified acquisition procedures and other than full and open competition since Heritage Packaging is the sole manufacturer and distributor of this item which is proprietary to this company. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 10 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Proposals must include the qualifications/capabilities of the company to manufacture this part, brochures, price list and must meet the Government?s requirements. Responses received without the requested information may be considered nonresponsive to this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
