Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center Augusta, GA (VISN 7), requires an Instructor/Facilitator to provide Federal Government Retirement Seminars [Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS), Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS), and Title 38 employees]. The vendor shall provide eight 2-day comprehensive retirement planning seminars covering eligibility, creditable service, computation of annuity, survivor benefits, social security, health insurance, life insurance and TSP information. The Vendor must have extensive experience and expert knowledge of Title 38, physician, dentist, and nurse special pay as this must be a large portion of the seminar. The vendor shall provide one 2-day session at each of the eight facilities in VISN 7 (Central Alabama Health Care System, Tuskegee and Montgomery, AL; VA Medical Centers Augusta, Atlanta, Dublin, GA; Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, AL; and Charleston, Columbia, S.C. The Performance Period will be March 1, 2006 through February 28, 2007 plus four (4) Option Years. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 611430 with a standard size of $6 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 14, 2006.
