- The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has a requirement to procure spare parts/components, training, repair services, robotic systems, and replacement robotic systems for PackBot robotic systems currently being used in contingency operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is to announce PEO STRI?s intent to award a non-competitive sole source FFP Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a set ceiling of $68mil with iRobot Corp., for fulfillment of this (PackBot) requirement through FY 07. PackBot robotic systems are currently being utilized in direct support of contingency operations OCONUS and will not be competed due to the proprietary nature of these systems. IRobot Corp., is the only known company capable of providing the required support and sustainment capability for these fielded robotic systems. A response to this notification is not required
