Description
This is a synopsis for the purchase of Submarine Main Storage Battery protective barrier assemblies in accordance with NAVSEA drawing # 201-7525990 Rev -. Barrier assemblies to be made of Lexan plastic and used as protective barriers for shipboard Main Storage batteries. The main Storage Battery consists of over 250 individual cells -- each cell to be covered with various shape and size Lexan protective barrier assembly. Average protective barrier dimension = 34 - 1 / 2" H X 20" W X 1 / 4" THK. Drawing available upon request. Vendor must provide a valid DD form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, prior to receipt of drawing. All interested companies shall submit a written request (e-mail, fax 207-438-4501, or mail) for drawings to the attention of Donna Getz, code 531.DG. For timely processing, requests for drawings should be submitted no later than 3/17/06.
