Description

Lake Pontchartrain and Vicinity, Phase II Floodwall Repair, London Avenue Canal Breach near Robert E Lee Boulevard, New Orleans, LA OEB-06 The work consists of constructing both a reinforced concrete pile founded T-wall and L-wall replacing the damag ed I-wall monoliths near the Robert E Lee boulevard bridge on both the east and west sides of the London Avenue canal. Site work will include, selective demolition, placement of backfill, stone and miscellaneous clearing. Time allowed for completion of thi s project has been shortened and all necessary provisions (multiple crews, overtime, concurrent operations, etc.) should be made to accomplish this work within the available time period. The estimated value of this work is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,00 0,000.00. The solicitation will issue on 10 February 2006, and the Proposals will be due 15 February 2006. Plans and Specifications are available to download from the WEB ONLY at http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil/EBS_Contracting/index.asp. There will be no pap er copies or CDs available. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLANHOLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO NOTIFY INTERESTED PARTIES IN THE EVENT THAT AN AMENDMENT IS ISSUED.
