The objective of the pilot plant will be to enable EEPCO and the Geological Survey of Ethiopia (GSE) to increase the level of knowledge that exists about the Tendaho geothermal resource that will allow EEPCO, in the near future, to finance and develop a 30 MW+ geothermal plant that will provide power to the Ethiopian grid (and possible export to Djibouti). Firms that want to send a courier to USTDA to retrieve the RFP should allow one hour after faxing the request to USTDA before scheduling a pick-up.
