Description

This project includes the replacement of the old medical, lab, and dental air compressor systems, the medical vacuum system and the outdated med gas monitoring system. Also included in the project is running new copper tubing for air and vacuum from the basement to the 10th floor for lab space. To meet code, new zone valves will have to be installed in some areas. All compressors being replaced are either not oil-less or have passed their life expectancy. A/E contract will include design (with reviews), reproduction of bid documents, construction period services, final inspections and as-built drawings. Estimated construction cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. The area of consideration is within 100 mile radius of this facility. Firms desiring consideration shall submit their qualifications and past performance of SF 330 (Architect Engineer Qualifications) and, for any consultants, on SF 330 Extra Sections E and F no later than 3/14/06.
