- Description
- Private investigator services are needed to perform work on federal Office of Worker?s Compensation Program (OWCP) compensation cases involving current or former employees of the St. Louis VA Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri. Individual case requests will be placed on an as-needed basis with the contractor. It is impossible to determine the number of hours required over the course of the contract period, however, the estimated contract hours will not exceed 400 hours, without prior approval of the contracting officer. The investigator shall be required to maintain strict confidentiality for all aspects of the process, including their relationship with the payer. Workmen compensation investigative services shall include all types of activities. The contractor will be required to provide written findings in connections with specific Workmen?s Compensation claims cases. Written findings shall be provided within two (2) weeks of conclusion of investigations. In some cases there will be a need to follow activity in a car (sometimes in heavy traffic) and/or record activities with a video camera.
