Description

The U.S. Army Engineer District, Philadelphia, intends to issue a RFQ (Request for Quote) for the installation of 13 monitoring wells at the Lipari Landull Superfund Site, Mantua Township, Gloucester Cty, NJ. RFQ number W912BU-06-T-0030 has been ass igned. The applicable NAICS code is 541380 and the size standard is $11.0 million. Five of the wells must be installed using a sonic drill rig with the remaining eight wells to be installed by drive sample boring. Upon notice of award, the successful contr actor must request dig permits from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. All equipment and personnel must be mobilized at the site not later than 17 Mar 2006. The total period of performance for this effort is 45 calendar days from r ecei pt of Notice to Proceed. This action is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Services. A paper solicitation will not be issued. Contractors must register via the Internet and download the RFQ package and any amendments from the followi ng address: https://www.fedteds.gov on (or after) the issue date of the RFQ. Contractors may fax their quotes to 215-656-6798, Attention: Lane Gary or mail them to the above address. Contractors are responsible for making changes to their user pr ofile on the Internet. Failure to do so may cause a delay in receiving notice of the RFQ and (or) any amendments. All contractors are required to be registered in DoDs Central Contract Register (CCR) before awards as per DFARS 204.7300. Contractors who receive a federal contract of $35,000 or more are required by law to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on their employment of ta rgeted vet erans.
