Description

The Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) has a requirement for the supply of fuel at a terminal located in one of these Louisiana Parishes: Plaquemine, St. Bernard or Orleans. The solicitation number HSFE06-06-R-2977 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) requirement for diesel fuel and gasoline. The Contractor must set up a fuel terminal in one of the Parishes mentioned above with at least a 300,000 gallon capacity for diesel fuel and a 300,000 gallon capacity for gasoline. FEMA contracted fuel delivery trucking companies are set up to delivery the fuel to eleven (11) diesel fuel locations and six (6) gasoline locations at the present time. These locations may change and be increased or decreased depending upon demand. Contractors must take into consideration in their quotations that the price of fuel will fluctuate and prices should also be adjusted according to the market prices. Contractor must abide to all Local and State policies pertaining to fuel containment.
