- This notice is an update to the previous notice posted to NECO on 26 October 2005. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, CA plans to hold a Site Visit on 1 March 2006, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at NAWCWD, Point Mugu, CA for the upcoming acquisition for design, fabrication and modification to one NP-3C Range Support Aircraft with options for a second and third NP-3C Range Support Aircraft. A presentation will be given at the Command Historical Archive Center, Building 112, located outside the Main Gate, on the right hand side. Visitors will be transported onto the station via Government provided transportation to the aircraft site to tour one of the P-3C Airframes to be modified. A photographer will be available during the site visit to take photos of the aircraft. All visitors to the NAWCWD Station must be badged prior to access to the base. Please provide full name and social security numbers for all attendees planning to attend the Industry Briefing. Attendance at the briefing will be limited to three representatives from each responding company. The briefing will be unclassified. Photos will be made available to all interested parties. A second site visit will be held on 8 March 2006, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at NADEP Jacksonville, FL. Visitors will be transported to the NADEP from the NAS JAX Main Gate on Yorktown Avenue via Government provided transportation to tour another one of the P-3C Airframes to be modified. Please provide full name and social security numbers for all attendees planning to attend the site visit at NADEP Jacksonville, FL. Attendance at the briefing will be limited to three representatives from each responding company. The briefing will be unclassified. Photos will be made available to all attendees. Specifications will be available from the contract specialist, Nancy Landeros at nancy.landeros@navy.mil. The specifications will be available concurrent with the issuance of the solicitation. Foreign access to critical technologies needed for the performance of this contract are not approved for release. FOCI contractors cannot be permitted access to the information required for full performance of this contract. When requesting specifications, please provide the company name, company mailing address, company's cage code, company's point of contact and the point of contact's e-mail address. No hard copies of the solicitation will be furnished unless absolutely necessary. The anticipated due date for proposals is 10 April 2006; however the actual proposal due date will be stated in the solicitation when issued. Proposals must be written in English and all costs proposed must be in US dollars. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See numbered note 26.
