Description

The Government intends to procure on a full and open competition basis rental of furnished apartments for the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) C-STARS students enrolled in the University of Maryland ? Baltimore for a base period of 6 months beginning 25 March 2006 plus four one-year options. The furnished apartments are needed to house a minimum of 32 students per month during a trauma hospital training rotation, with the potential to increase over time to 64 students per month. A 60-day notice will be given if more apartments are needed. Due to mission essential and locational requirements, all apartments must be located within a 1/2 mile radius of the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) complex, or a 24/7 shuttle will have to be provided. Specifications will be provided with the Request for Proposal. The RFP will be released on or about 23 February 2006 and close 20 days thereafter. The RFP will be available through the FEDBIZOPPS http://www.fbo.gov/.
