Description

Provide bus transportation from Camp Buckner, West Point, NY to Fort Knox, Ky and return trips. Each trip is to transport approximately 350 individuals. There are four (4) trips from West Point, NY to Fort Knox, KY (10 July; 14 July; 18 July; and 2 2 July 2006) and four (4) trips from Fort Knox, KY to West Point, NY (14 July; 18 July; 22 July; and 26 July 2006). Bus company must be an approved carrier by Surface Deployment and Distribution Commanc (SDDC); must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR); and be registered at the ORCA (Online Representations & Certifications Application) web site. This procurement is also set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Buses used must have a minimum capacity of 55 seats which would ensure 35% increased baggage capacity. Buses must also be equipped with A/C, Restroom, and TV/VCR. The actual solicitation package will contain complete specifications. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 485510 with a size standard of $6 million. Request for Quotations (RFQ) W911SD-06-T-0077 will be issued on 27 February 2006 with offers due by 22 March 2006. Copies of the solicitation may be requested from Kevin M.
