Description

The work of this project consists of providing approximately 30,000 tons of 3/4 inch minus road base material for Badlands National Park, Interior, South Dakota 57751. Crushed aggregate will meet South Dakota State Department of Highways Specifications as shown below. The Park will be responsible for transporting the material to the park work sites. Materials shall be stored at crusher site/pit until Park staff have transported all of the materials to the park. NPS vehicles and personnel will be used for transporting. This projecct is a lump sum contract. The magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. P&S : 5610; NAICS code is: 212321;and Size Standard of 500 employees. This project is Set Aside for Small Business. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This solicitation will be available ONLY at the DOI Website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) O/A March 1, 2006 and unless amendments are issued extending the solicitation the offers are due and closed on March 15, 2006 COB. this Acquisition will be conduc ted using the rules of FAR 12 "Commercial Item Purchase". In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors will be asked to register their company with the electronic commerce website.
