Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 37, Service Contracting and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Social Security Administration, Region IV, intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Verbatim Hearing Reporters to provide court reporting services for locations in the Atlanta Region. NAICS code: 561492. The size standard is $6.5 million. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The Request for Quotations (SSA-RFQ-06-1229) will be posted at http://www.fedbizops.gov on or about 3/13/06 with quotations due no later than 3/31/06. No bid packages will be accepted after 3/31/06. Paper copies of the RFQ will not be available. All documentation can and must be downloaded from the website above. A firm-fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will be issued, with a performance period of 4/17/06 to 12/31/06. Anticipated award dates will start 4/3/06 up to 4/17/06. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer which shall be considered. No award will be issued to a prospective contractor or vendor that has not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov). Prior to registering in CCR, you must obtain a DUN and Bradstreet number at 1-800-333-0505. No telephone, e-mail, mail or fax requests will be accepted. *****
