Description
Those U.S. firms with past experience with or potential interest in NATO and NC3A (NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency) are invited to attend the upcoming NC3A conference and seminar on doing business in the NATO C4ISR (Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Information, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) environment. This conference will bring together NATO capability development and acquisition experts that span the life cycle from concepts and requirements to competitive bidding and implementation. Attendees can expect to hear about previous lessons learned in order to better position themselves for successful bidding. Additionally, the forum will address - in a symposium style - how NATO and industry can better form partnerships outside of the competitive environment. You will have a chance to widen your network of industry and NATO contacts, and you will learn first hand from firms that have been and continue to be successful in this highly competitive arena. At the conference, you can expect such topics as: - What is the NC3A, what is its role, and why is it important to my business? - How do NATO and the NC3A work together to acquire and implement C4ISR capability? - What are the NC3A mechanics of Invitations for Bid and Source Selection? - What are the major NATO C4ISR programs and associated industrial opportunities? - What have been critical success factors in past winning bids? - How can the process be improved to bring Industry in earlier with less risk? Each of these sessions will be complemented by top quality speakers - those in key NATO leadership positions to set the tone and then high-level experts in the fields of requirements, acquisition and capability development. The conference is scheduled to take place 27-28 November 2006 in Brussels, Belgium, with an extended ice-breaker and networking cocktail event the evening of Sunday 26 November. The conference will include a nominal participant fee to cover the costs of setup, administration and catering, but will be kept to a minimum to maximize participation. For planning purposes and to avoid limiting attendance, NC3A is trying to ascertain the number of participants interested in the conference. If your firm is interested in attending this conference, please email your company details, to include information on your primary point of contact, along with the approximate number of attendees, to Mr. Michael Cuoio, NC3A Executive Secretary, by 10 March 2006. Email address for Mr. Cuoio: Michael.Cuoio@nc3a.nato.int
